Population Education, a program of Population Connection, provides K-12 teachers with innovative, hands-on lesson plans and professional development to teach about human population growth and its effects on the environment and human well-being​​. ​Check out the Population Education video below - it's an amazing introduction to population growth over time, including major historical references!

The purpose of the Arizona Geographic Alliance is to strengthen geography education in Arizona. We are funded through grants and receive support from Arizona State University's School of Geographical Sciences & Urban Planning where the AzGA office is located. We are proud to partner with ASU in addition to the Arizona Council on Economic Education, Arizona Foundation on Legal Services and Education, and the Arizona Council for the Social Studies, as well as other national and state groups.

The Center for Civic Education helps students develop (1) an increased understanding of the institutions of constitutional democracy and the fundamental principles and values upon which they are founded, (2) the skills necessary to participate as competent and responsible citizens, and (3) the willingness to use democratic procedures for making decisions and managing conflict. Ultimately, the Center strives to develop an enlightened citizenry by working to increase understanding of the principles, values, institutions, and history of constitutional democracy among teachers, students, and the general public.
